From the St. James Park Station, get onto Victoria Street/A302 and a short 5-minute walk will get you to Westminster Abbey. You can also get off at Westminster Station.

From Victoria Station, get onto Wilton Road and a 15-minute walk will get you to Westminster Abbey.

Those using wheelchairs as well as their caregivers get free admission every day. 

Westminster Abbey does not have an official dress code, but we recommend dressing modestly as it is a place of religious importance.

Video recording, flash photography, extra lighting, selfie sticks and tripods are not permitted.

You'll be doing a lot of walking on uneven stone floors, so choose comfortable footwear.

We had a wonderful guide who explained so well about the architectural features and symbols throughout the cathedral.  She also engaged our 9 year old grandson who enjoyed the visit as much as we did. We loved the words in Latin at the centre of the cathedral placed by Wren's son with the meaning "if you want an epitaph to Sir Christopher Wren, simply look around you!" It was lovely to pause on the hour to reflect that St Paul's is a place of worship and to say The Lord's Prayer together in our mother tongues.

Nous avons pris nos entrées pour midi. Presque  personne dans la file d'attente, ce qui n'était pas le cas vers 14h. Nous avons fait une visite sans audioguide. L'abbaye est magnifique à l'intérieur , très chargée en sculptures. Nous avons auusi apprécié les différents petits jardins. Mon fils de 10 ans  a bien aimé. 

We took our appetizers for lunch. Hardly anyone in line, which was not the case around 2pm. We took a tour without an audioguide. The interior of the abbey is magnificent, with a wealth of sculptures. We also enjoyed the various small gardens. My 10-year-old son really enjoyed it.
